The HBO hit has been home to myriad smokin’ guest stars, including Zac Efron, LeBron James, Michael Phelps and even Wahlberg himself, who said he still „always pops up, a little [cameo] here and there.“

We don’t think it’s too soon to be asking about future guest stars for the show or movie, so though maybe we should suggest some possible cameos. Maybe, say…Robert Pattinson? And would they ever bring him on if he was interested?

„Umm, that’s the kid from Twilight?“ asked Mark. „Yeah. We’ll see about that.“

Oh, Mr. Wahlberg, you coy little devil! We’re certain this isn’t the last you’ll hear about getting R.Pattz to make a cameo as Vince’s next co-star or Ari’s erstwhile client.

And hey, since our campaign to get Rob to host Saturday Night Live didn’t really pan out, this is definitely a Pattison protest we can get behind!

Robert Pattinson’s 2008 short film, “The Summer House” dominated iTunes immediately following its recent release, topping movie sales charts in the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and Germany after a mere four hours. The July 13th iTunes release marked the first occasion on which the film had been distributed for mass consumption, having only been run on the festival circuit during the prior year.

The film is an adaptation of a coming-of-age story in which a teenage girl (Jane) summering at an aunt’s chateau in rural France discovers the complexity of romantic relationships—both those of certain family members, as well as her own. Rob plays the role of 18-year-old Richard, the love interest of Jane. Having broken up with her to date another woman prior to her departure for the summer, once dumped by the other, he appears unexpectedly at Jane’s retreat to win her back. Through a series of benign advances (e.g., love letters) and other more forceful attempts, he pushes Jane to come farther into herself.

Having been shot just prior to the release of “Twilight”, “The Summer House” will be regarded as one of Pattinson’s early works, though by the time he played in “The Summer House”, Pattinson had already acted in other major Hollywood films. The release comes just in time for fans craving more of the international mega-star, whose media exposure has fallen off sharply since the release of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”.

Did our cameos yesterday for the movie! Long day–actors work HARD! And I don’t mean us, I mean the real actors (some of the extras had been there for sixteen hours by the time we left). Magical. Beautiful. I’m going to be absorbing this experience for a long time. Thank you THANK YOU to all the people who are making this movie happen. xoxo

She followed up that status update with:

I’m really overcome by all the talent and hard work that went into this movie. I did it for three days; you did it all day every day for three and a half months. I bow to you, and am truly speechless. Thank you. Just thank you. I hope you all know what this means to me. I work with words, but at this moment I am without words. xxoo

This must truly be an author’s dream come true…to see your story come to life. We couldn’t be happier for you, Sara, and the fans are going to make WFE a huge success.

Francis Lawrence, the director, sat under a black awning against the circus bleachers. His face was calm with a slight smile of satisfaction as he watched the footage. He exchanged words with the AD (Assistant Director). Almost immediately I heard the cue: “Pictures up!” A pause. “And BACKGROUND!” On background we all began the exhilarating sprint from danger once more. A plume of dust rose from our pounding feet and swirled around the swinging lamps. Wind pushed the top of the tent up and down like waves. As the motion of canvas, lamps, and people rushed about, the enormous elephant stood calmly in the center of the ring. “And CUT! Thank you folks! Good job.”

On my walk back across the circus floor I noticed a new excitement. There was no audible noise but something seemed different. When I came around the last large tent pole Pattinson had appeared at the end of the menagerie. I heard the start of the AD’s instructions. “Rob, we’re going to have you….” The young actor looked controlled and confident even while hundreds of Rubes tried to secretly glance in his direction. Most of the cast had arrived at their original mark but I was still walking. Fortuitously I was placed near the entrance to the tent just a few feet from where Rob was now standing.

The only Robert Pattinson project most people know from his pre-“Twilight“ days is his small role in „Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire“ as Cedric Diggory, but as his popularity has grown, more of his earlier projects are getting wide release. The latest of those is the short film „The Summer House,“ which was filmed for a week back in the summer of 2006, but is only hitting film festivals and iTunes this year. You can watch the trailer here.

First-time director Daisy Gills said she actually cast Rob because she was recommended him by Campbell Mitchell, who had worked on props for another of his early projects, „The Haunted Airman.“

„He said, this guy is amazing, and he’s really nice, and I think he’d be really up for working on a short film,“ Gills told MTV News. „I saw a picture of him and I thought, he’s fantastic.“

Up until that point, Rob’s costar Talulah Riley was best known for her work in Joe Wright’s „Pride & Prejudice,“ and hadn’t yet starred in her big hit, „Pirate Radio“ (known as „The Boat That Rocked“ in the UK). Gills hired a cast director to find her an actress to play the short’s main character, Jane, and thought Talulah was the perfect fit.

„Talulah was amazing. The thing that I found most amazing about her was her versatility. You could give her a small amount of direction, and she would deliver a completely different but equally wonderful performance. I was like, wow,“ said Gills.
