Who wrote ‘Falling In Love for the Last Time’?
Me!

Who is laughing in the end of „falling in love for the last time“ itunes Version?
That’s my friend Rob. He’s doing the backing vocals too..

What is your reaction to people that believe that Robert Pattinson composed/wrote the song “Falling in love for the last time“?
It’s a great romantic story, and I’m all for great romantic stories. I’ve heard people are saying that to some of their fans, it has become a sort of Rob and Kristen theme tune. I love that! They are two incredibly talented people who to their fans seem to symbolize a sort of modern day Romeo and Juliet or something. Fans want to believe in their heroes. I know because I’ve been there. I can kinda see how it started, I was hanging out with Rob a lot at the time and I did write my song „How To Be“ for him. Though to be honest I don’t really mind what people say as long as they’re enjoying my music and judging by the amazing response it’s had so far that seems to be the case.

Note via alexandra1116: „Jsyk, the guy who was doing the backing vocals at Lee’s gig last week is also called Rob, so he may not be referring to RP in that sentence.“

// Paris Match

PM: In Paris, last November you were really scared by the craziness. How do you feel today Robert Pattinson?
Rob: I feel better. I’m starting to get used to Hollywood. It all seems just as crazy to me, but I have more control over myself. I know I have to watch what I’m going to tell you for exam ple… And I’ll never get used to people who spend their lives following me around or to the people who use my name to make money. But I’ve learned to speak about the movie, my character and my career.

PM: In this third installment your character refuses to sleep with Bella and only thinks about one thing: getting married. It’s an ancient couple concept don’t you think?

Rob: This vision is a bit archaic but I assume it. The way I see it, Edward is obsessed that he isn’t human. He would like to not be a vampire. Therefore he takes advantage of every little detail that can bring him closer to “normality”. What’s better than a marriage to feel like everyone else? In all classic vampire stories, they think of sleeping with their prey and are ready to kill for blood. Edward, is searching for simple love, to not be different anymore. But he knows that’s impossible, that he’s damned to eternal life. This is what also causes this profound sadness in him.

PM: Does Edward represent purity?
Rob: He’s as pure as possible! But a vam pire lives by its instinct, which pushed him each day to find blood to feed and that’s not the purest act in the word. Edward is on a spiritual quest. Love seems to be his religion even though he know he’ll never go to heaven.

LOS ANGELES—ROBERT PATTINSON usually arrives at our interviews with an easy, sly grin on his face. The smile reminds us that we’re in for another humor-filled talk with the guy.

What was different this time was his haircut—cropped on the side—which made him look younger.

In this chat, Robert talks about his anxiety over the coming end of the “Twilight” series, how he feels about the kissing scenes between Kristen Stewart’s Bella and Taylor Lautner’s Jacob, and a life-changing moment, among others.

Robert has come a long way from the first time we interviewed him on the London set of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” in which he played Cedric Diggory.

Below are excerpts:

What are you looking forward to about “Breaking Dawn” being shot back-to-back as two films and of Bill Condon directing them?

I’m glad that it’s Bill Condon. I love his stuff. I haven’t seen the script yet but I am fearful about the series’ end. It’s such a great security blanket. It’s like a net. You can afford to make mistakes when you have another “Twilight” film to make. After that, I guess you’re on your own.

I’m glad the “Breaking Dawn” films will be done together. Because otherwise, it’s quite hard to fit another film in-between each one. Like what happened in “Eclipse”—having to get your mind back to where it was before. I had about a week of preparation time. It was quite stressful in the beginning. With the two films done together, you can just stay in character the whole time.

In the tent scene which is already the much talked-about thing in “Eclipse,” your vampire character is of course cold, body temperature wise, while Taylor’s Jacob drives home the point that he’s literally hotter.

Glamour Germany scans

Robert Pattinson, 24, likes to spend his day in bed rather than attending an interview. However he made an exception for us.

It was a non-recurring chance! Over 250 readers sent us questions online they’d like us to ask our Onscreen-Vampire Robert Pattinson. Then again we are sorry to say: marriage proposal couldn’t be transferred during that 18 minutes and 4 seconds.

„No personal questions!“ Robert Pattinson‘s agent announced in a kind of harsh american english way and was about to connect us with Robert Pattinson by phone. 80% oft the questions on the list were more or less of a personal nature, sent in advance by the (female) readers. I tried to calm down the lady on the phone, anyway. The vivid disputed relationship with Pattinson’s „Twilight“ –partner Kirsten Stewart really did not met the interest of our readers that much. Yet his work did including the third part oft he crazy succesful Vampire Saga ‘Eclipse‘. It’ll premiere July 15th in Germany. Two months in advance like it should be with all that Twilight Hype the start of ticket sales and our interview were on the on the same day, on Robert Pattinsons birthday.

The rather hesitant „Hello…?“ on the other end of he line was a slight hint somebody probably did some partying the night before or might be actually shy.

Hi Robert! Happy Birthday! We hope not to bother you too much today..
„Oh, thanks very much“, laughs a bit nervously. „No you don’t, I’m sitting in the car right now on my way for to the elephant training.“

Twilight?
